Oh, Kamran Akmal, there is no day when he or his brother Umar have written something on the internet and it has not gone VIRAL! The former wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran had earlier in the day came forward to wish his country on Pakistan's Independence Day. 

The cricketer had taken to his official Twitter handle to wish all his fans but there was a colossal goof-up. Kamran wished everyone a Happy Independence Day on Twitter, but the only issue was that he misspelled Independence as 'Indepence'.

As soon as netizens took notice of the same, they came forward and schooled him. 

As far as Kamran Akmal's cricketing career is concerned, he had begun his international journey in November 2002 with a Test match. The batsman scored 2648 runs in 53 Tests which includes six centuries.

In 137 ODIs, he has amassed 2924 runs with five centuries while in T20 Internationals, he has 704 runs. As for his wicket-keeping, he has affected 206, 169, and 52 dismissals in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is respectively.
