Other Indian batsmen who have won the Orange Cap include Ruturaj Gaikwad in 2021 and Shubman Gill in 2023. Ruturaj played a crucial role in Chennai Super Kings winning the IPL title, while Shubman Gill led Gujarat Titans to the final in 2023.
Looking ahead to IPL 2024, the tournament will start on March 22 with a match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings. Despite the General Elections, the entire season will be played in India.
