The glamorous Cricket-Bollywood pair of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma celebrated their first wedding anniversary on Tuesday.

Kohli is leading the Indian team in the four-Test Border-Gavaskar series in Australia, while Anushka is also with him Down Under.

The couple got married in a private ceremony on December 11 last year in Tuscany, Italy, and the Indian captain, since then, has admitted quite a few times about his wife's positive influence in his life.

In an interview with Gilchrist for Fox Sports, Kohli said, “Since the time I met my wife, is the time I started changing a lot. I came from a very typical background from North India. I did not have any idea about what happens in any other sphere of the society or anyone else's life.”

The 30-year-old signed off by saying, “Her life was very different, came with her own challenges and her own perspective of things and it was amazing to see myself... how much different things are to the way I think. I was not a very practical person before that. But she's changed me a lot and I've learned so much from her. You're supposed to help each other grow and she's helped me grow a lot.”

On their special day on Tuesday, Kohli took to Twitter and shared a couple of photographs of himself along with his wife, and wrote a sweet message for his soulmate.

The message read, "Can't believe it's been a year already because it feels like it happened just yesterday. Time has truly flown by. Happy anniversary to my best friend and my soulmate. Mine forever  @AnushkaSharma."
