Kevin Pietersen disheartened to see David Warner's plight, says THIS about Australian batter

Languishing at the bottom of the table with just 4 points, it is all curtains for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) after a dismal campaign in the current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

While the side surely had a rough season, one player of the franchise who had it worst was their former skipper David Warner. The Australian star might well have played his last game for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and seeing the plight of the cricketer has got the cricket world disheartened. 

The southpaw, who was the most vital cog of the IPL franchise ever since joining them in 2014, got to play only a couple of matches in the UAE leg. He had scores of 0 and 2, which meant Warner was axed again. 

See the 'love affair' between Warner and SRh going sour, Kevin Pietersen expressed his disappointment saying the Aussie player has been at the heart and soul of SRH.

"David Warner just is Sunrisers Hyderabad, so it’s disheartening to see his love affair with the franchise unravelling like this. He has scored so many runs for them over the years, captained them to the title, and has been at the heart and soul of everything that they do," Pietersen said in his blog for Betway.

"He looks totally disillusioned now, and there are clearly things happening behind the scenes that we don’t know about,” he added. 

It may appear to be seen that things may have fallen apart between Warner and the SRH management. Warner's cryptic social media post on Friday (September 30) also got many people talking.

"It's not about who is real to your face, It's about who stays real behind your back," the 34-year-old had posted on his Instagram story.

As for SRH, with the side already out of the top 4 fight, head coach Trevor Bayliss stated youngsters will get chances in the remaining games. This meant Warner's return to the field was more or less nil. 

Moreover, with the mega auctions all set to take place next year, SRH at this rate look to release the Australian swashbuckler.
