IPL 2022: Netizens heartbroken after Royal Challengers Bangalore fails to make it to the final

The dream was broken for the Faf du Plessis lead RCB as they were defeated by the Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets during the qualifier 2 match of the IPL 2022. The architect for this convincing victory was again Jos Buttler who has had a terrific season.

Jos Buttler has scored more than 800  runs this season with 4 centuries and 4 half-centuries to his name at a staggering batting average of 50+.

In the first innings, it was an excellent bowling performance by Prasidh Krishna (3/22) and Obed McCoy (3/23) that helped Rajasthan Royals restrict Royal Challengers Bangalore to 157/8 despite a fighting fifty by Rajat Patidar (58 off 42) in 20 overs after winning the toss and opting to bowl first.

This was RCB's 3rd qualifier in a row in as many seasons and they have lost all of them. RCB has also played 3 IPL finals in the past but they ended up on the losing side there too. 

The fans of Royal Challengers Bangalore who has been very supportive throughout the season were left dejected and heartbroken and yet took over to social media to show their agony. Check out some of the reactions by the fans below.

Rajasthan Royals will take on Gujarat Titans in the final match of the IPL 2022. The match will be played on Sunday at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
