IPL 2021: Nicholas Pooran get out for third duck in 4 games, Twitterati come up with hilarious reactions

Punjab Kings West Indies import Nicholas Pooran, who lit up the last year's tournament with his magnificent big-hitting, has been struggling for his form in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Pooran has scored just nine runs in the four innings thus far in the ongoing season returning with scores of 0, 0, 9 and 0, including three ducks.

However, these are not normal ducks and follow a pattern as the tournament has progressed. He got out for a duck off two balls against the Rajasthan Royals in his side's first game. He got out for a first-ball duck against the Chennai Super Kings, trying to play a hook shot off Deepak Chahar.

Now, on Wednesday in his side's fourth game, against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Pooran got out for a diamond duck, without even facing a ball as he was run-out as soon as he came to the crease. Pooran's was the third wicket that the Kings lost as they were reduced to 39/3 in just the eight over.

The Kings could muster only 120 runs in their 20 overs in their first game at the Chepauk Stadium as the slow and sluggish track aided the Sunrisers' bowlers.
