Mumbai Indians have won the toss and chosen to bowl first against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Match No 27 of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League. Skipper Rohit Sharma said that it was a good Delhi surface and suggested that it will get better as the game goes on.

CSK skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni also wanted to bowl first as he reckoned that in the last game they played at this ground, the pitch got better as the game went on and it was good to know the target at the small ground.

The men in yellow made no changes, while the Mumbai Indians made two tactical changes as they brought in all-rounder Jimmy Neesham and pacer Dhawal Kulkarni in place of Nathan Coulter-Nile and Jayant Yadav.
