Mumbai spinner Mayank Markande is still the leading wicket-taker in the Indian Premier League 2018. Markande has taken his tally to eight wickets in four matches on Tuesday. Bangalore's Chris Woakes also has eight wickets but remains second on lesser economy and average.

Last season's Purple Cap winner Bhuvneshwar Kumar entered the list after SRH's match against KXIP with 5 wicktes. Another SRH bowler Siddhart Kaul rose to 6 in the list of leading wicket-takers.

Kolkata Knight Riders' Sunil Narine has seven wickets after five matches followed by Umesh Yadav (7), Rahul Tewatia (6), Kuldeep Yadav (6) and Trent Boult (6). SRH's Shakib Al Hasan will have a chance to add more wickets to his haul of five as Kings Eleven Punjab takes on Sunrisers Hyderabad at Mohali Thursday evening.
