Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) take on SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) for a place in the final on Friday. The winner of this qualifier 2 match will face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Sunday.
However, a promo on Hotstar showing KKR taking on CSK in the final has left people puzzled. A clip of this ad was shared on social media and since then people have been asking if the IPL 2018 is fixed.

However, there may well be a very innocent explanation of all this.
The video may just be case of advanced planning. Broadcasters sometimes prepare promo videos in advance as there is not much time between the matches. The IPL final takes place just 2 days after the Qualifier 2- so it is possible that Hotstar probably got two promos ready– one featuring CSK vs/ KKR and the other CSK v/s SRH.
