Pakistan were dealt an early blow after choosing to bat first against India in the Asia Cup match on Sunday as Yuzvendra Chahal trapped opener Imam-ul-Haq leg before wicket.

Pakistan had made a slow and cautious start in the Super 4 stage match at the Dubai International Stadium with both Imam and Fakhar Zaman trying to spend some time in the middle.

After tight start by Indian pacers, Rohit Sharma introduced spin as early as in the eighth over handing the ball to Yuzvendra Chahal. His decision was proved right when Chahal hit Imam on the pads.

However, the umpire didn't raise his finger as Indian players appealed. Rohit Sharma looked at the man behind the wicket MS Dhoni who nodded and the review was taken. DRS showed that it was ticking all the right boxes and Imam was declared out.

Imam scored 10 runs off 20 balls with the help of two boundaries. His wicket put Pakistan at 24/1 after 8 overs.

Fans and experts were quick to notice Dhoni's nod on the DRS call. Dhoni is known for making brilliant calls when it comes to reviews. That is the reason fans refer to DRS as Dhoni Review System as well.

While India used their review well, Fakhar Zaman didn't take a review after being given out leg before wicket to Kuldeep Yadav. Zaman fell while trying to play Yadav and was hit on the pads. However, replays showed the ball had hit his gloves before hitting the pads. Zaman did not take the DRS and walked back for 31 as Pakistan lost their second wicket.
