New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson will be leading the Kiwis in the third and final ODI against India on Tuesday.

The BlackCaps, who are leading 2-0 and have won the series will be having a major advantage with the captain's return.

Williamson was earlier ruled out of the first two ODIs after he suffered from a shoulder injury during the third T20I. He recovered from an inflamed AC joint niggle in his left shoulder.

He missed the last two T20Is as well of the five-match series which India clean swept 5-0.

While Tim Southee led the team for the last T20Is, the ongoing ODI series was lead by Tom Latham in the absence of regular skipper, Williamson.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the right-handed batsman said that his injured shoulder is recovering well and is hopeful of recovering in time for the final game of the series.

In the T20Is, Williamson had impressed all as he scored two half-centuries in the first two matches and scored 95 runs in the third.
