1, 0, 0: Twitterati come up with hilarious memes as KL Rahul's poor run continues

Indian opening batsman KL Rahul's poor form in the shortest format continued on Tuesday as he recorded his third single-digit score in as many matches in the ongoing T20I series against England. Rahul, who has been the first-choice opener for the Indian team in the T20Is has been preferred for the last year or so, however, he hasn't returned with good scores.

In the three games, he has scored 1, 0 and 0 and has faced backlash for his poor footwork and inability to play good quality fast bowling.

Rahul, who was the most run-getter in the last season of the IPL for his side scoring 670 runs, hasn't been able to replicate the same form in international cricket with the same consistency. Like in the first game his wicket led to a mini-collapse for India as in both the games India lost three wickets in the powerplay itself, increasing pressure on the middle-order to score and that too at quick pace.

Twitterati expressed their disappointment at Rahul's form with some of the very hilarious memes. While many suggested that a string of low scores from Rahul might open the selection door for Suryakumar Yadav again, many took a dig at the name of the stadium in the political context.
