With India requiring only 157 runs on 5th Day to win the first Test against England at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, Indian fans are praying that rain does not interrupt the match on the final day. There are possibilities of rainfall on the fifth and final day of the Test and if this happens then fans would be left heartbroken. 

Since the weather is expected to remain humid on the fifth and final day, the high humidity would make batting tough for Indian players. As per weather.com, there is a high chance of rain today in Nottingham.

On Saturday, England skipper Joe Root batted superbly to score a century but fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah claimed five wickets on the fourth day to help India grab the upper hand. India were given a target of 209 runs by England to win the first Test.

Bumrah scalped out four England batsmen and got five more in the second to finish with nine wickets for the match going with his 28 runs with the bat. The wicket procession in the second innings was started by Mohammed Siraj, who dismissed the left-hander Rory Burns. 

After which, it was the Bumrah show with the ball and Joe Root show with the bat. Bumrah's first victim was Zak Crawley getting him caught behind after which Root and Sibley formed a controlled partnership.

In reply, India scored 52 for the loss of K L Rahul's wicket. The right-handed batsman returned to the pavilion after scoring 26 off 38 balls. Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara were unbeaten on 12 each after the end of fourth day's play.
