England opener Keaton Jennings may be "cool" with Indian skipper Virat Kohli's 'mic drop' celebration after Joe Root's dismissal in the opening Test. However, it generated a lot of reactions on social media with some fans taking exception to the manner of his celebration.

The Indian skipper ran out Root (80) with a direct hit when the home player was attempting to pull off a risky second single in the 63rd over. Kohli celebrated Root's dismissal with a 'mic drop' gesture, mocking the bat drop by the Englishman to celebrate a hundred during the ODI series, added a bit of spice to the proceedings. Kohli was also seen blowing kissed and shouting something during the celebration. 

However, a Pakistani fan's reaction to the celebration triggered a war of words on Twitter. A twitter user @azkhawaja1 termed the celebration classless. 

Needless to say, he had to face a lot of backlash from Indian fans (and seemingly some Pakistani fans too).

While some attacked him and the Pakistan cricket team, many called him out as just an attention seeker. 

India were on the front foot after day one of the ongoing first test match in Birmingham's Edgbaston Cricket Ground as England were reduced to 285 for nine after after a good start.
