While numerous debates over the Motera pitch, the action will continue at the same venue as India take on England in the five-match T20I series at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
India had earlier sealed their spot in the final of the World Test Championship against Joe Root's men which will take place at Southampton from June 18-22.
While India will now look to make up their team keeping the T20 World Cup in mind, England, on the other hand, have a completely new look and will seek revenge for the Test humiliation.
It will be a pretty hot day in Ahmedabad with the maximum temperature around 36 degrees Celsius. The evening will be more pleasant with the temperature ranging between 26-33 degrees Celsius. As for the humidity, it will be 38 per cent and there is no chance of precipitation for this match.
This is the first time the Narendra Modi Stadium will be hosting a T20I match after being newly constructed. It had earlier hosted knockout matches of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in January.
As for the pitch, it looks evenly balanced at the moment with more assistance for the spinners. Anything over 160 could be a good competitive score on this wicket.
