If there was something cricket fans expected from Bangladesh throughout the Asia Cup was their ‘Nagin dance.’

That dance style by the Bangladeshis became popular when they did that to celebrate their win against Sri Lanka in the Nidhaas Trophy earlier this year.

Finally on Friday evening at the Dubai International Stadium in Asia Cup 2018 final between India and Bangladesh, Nazmul Islam celebrated with the patented Nagin Dance on dismissing in-form and tough Shikhar Dhawan early on in the innings.

Meanwhile, Indian cricket fans didn't leave a chance to mock that:

Earlier in the match, former Indian captain MS Dhoni became the first Asian wicketkeeper to have clinched 800-plus dismissals in international cricket.

During the Asia Cup final between India and Bangladesh in Dubai, Dhoni became the first-ever Asian wicketkeeper to enter the 800-club of dismissals among wicketkeepers and overall, he was third behind Mark Boucher (998) and Adam Gilchrist (905).

Meanwhile, talking specifically about Asia Cup, Dhoni equaled Kumar Sangakkara’s overall 36 dismissals but surpassed the Sri Lankan legend in terms of stumpings.

Prior to Asia Cup final, Dhoni and Sangakkara were on the level, nine stumpings each, but by the time Bangladesh’s innings ended on Friday, Dhoni went past Sangakkara by adding two more stumpings to his account.

India's unorthodox spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Kedar Jadhav wreaked havoc after opener Liton Das's fine hundred as Bangladesh were bowled out for a modest 222 on Friday.

An injury-ravaged Bangladesh made a flying start, courtesy Liton's maiden ODI hundred (121 off 117 balls), as he added 120 runs with fellow opener Mehidy Hasan Miraz (32).

Just when it looked like Bangladesh would make a match of it, things went downhill as India's tiny neighbours suffered an all-too-familiar batting collapse, losing 10 wickets for 102 runs. The innings lasted 48.3 overs.

MS Dhoni's smart work behind the stumps also played its part as much as Ravindra Jadeja's electric fielding inside the 30-yard circle.

Chinaman Kuldeep's 3 for 45 was well complemented by Kedar's 2 for 41 in nine overs of unconventional off-breaks, as Bangladesh frittered away the initiative with poor shot selection.
