India will be going to Sri Lanka in July for a limited-overs series of three ODIs and three T20Is. After BCCI President, Sourav Ganguly said that India and Sri Lanka will be involved in a limited-over series, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has proposed an itinerary to the BCCI.

In a report in ESPN Cricinfo, as per the itinerary, India's white-ball team will be arriving on July 5 and they will be in the island country till July 28. The series will start with the ODIs and end with the T20Is. The first ODI will take place on July 13, followed by games on July 16 and 18. The T20I series will start on July 22 and will go on till July 27.

The report stated that the Indian team will be serving a 7-day quarantine but in two parts. The first part will be of three days of hard quarantine in hotel rooms and in the second the team will be allowed to train but the movement will be restricted to just the hotel and the ground for four days.

While Virat Kohli and co will be in England preparing for the five-match Test series against the hosts after the completion of the World Test Championship (WTC) final, BCCI will be sending a second-string team specially for the limited-overs while some players will be looking to stake a claim for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup to be slated to held in India..
