India A vs South Africa A: Manish Pandey, Shreyas Iyer to share captaincy, Yuzvendra Chahal also added to squad

In the five-match one-day series against South Africa A, Manish Pandey will captain India A in the first three while Shreyas Iyer will be taking over in the final two games. The series will be held in Thiruvananthapuram starting August 29.

The opening pair of Shubman Gill and Ruturaj Gaikwad, are set to continue at the top for the first three matches, according to Cricbuzz.

Prashant Chopra - who recently had a hundred against Sri Lanka A - has been included as a replacement for Gaikwad in the final two games.

Navdeep Saini - who was added to India's senior team as a back-up pacer - hasn't been included for this series. 

Right-arm pacer Avesh Khan also does not find a place in the squad. Shardul Thakur, on the other hand, has been included to the squad.

Yuzvendra Chahal, Vijay Shankar and Shivam Dube have also been picked to play the series, according to Cricbuzz.
