IND vs WI: India lead West Indies by 89 runs at lunch

Indian openers Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul survive the openings 7 overs during day three of the first Test match between India and West Indies at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound in Antigua on Saturday. 

Gabriel started off the Windies attack with a lot of promise but failed to get an early breakthrough.

Both Mayank and Rahul looked comfortable while facing the Windies pacers except for the one time when Mayank's edged delivery almost found the fielder at slip.   

Earlier, Indian bowlers were excellent with the ball and only allowed West Indies to add only 33 runs and lost the final to wickets when play resumed in the morning. 

Skipper Jason Holder was the first man to fall to a Mohammad Shami deceived delivery, who departed after scoring 39 runs off 65 balls. 

Miguel Cummins then created a new record and became the first-ever player to get dismissed for a duck after facing 45 delivers against India. 

Ravindra Jadeja removed Cummins to end the West Indies innings as the hosts trail India by 75 runs. 

Other than Cummins, other players who faced most numbers of balls and getting dismissed for a duck are:

Keith Arthurton vs England at Lord's in 2002 off 40 balls, Mervyn Dillon vs Pakistan at Sharjah on 2002 off 29 balls, Clyde Butts vs India in Chennai during 1988  off 27 balls and R Austin vs Bangladesh at Kingstown during 2009 off 24 balls. 

India currently leady West Indies by 89 runs and will be hoping to add at least 200 more runs before their session ends.
