Going into the fourth and final Test, if Rishabh Pant was discussed it was just about how he has been sledging the Aussies in the ongoing Test series.

In all the three Tests at Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne, Pant got off to a promising start but failed to convert it into a significant knock. It was mostly because Pant threw away his wicket while attempting a needless glorified shot, which was never the demand of the situation.

However, things have changed in the fourth and final Test in Sydney. India are already 2-1 up and even a draw would make them the first-ever Indian side to win a Test series Down Under.

The first day and most of the second day of the Test was all about Cheteshwar Pujara, who missed out on his fourth Test double by just seven runs.

Before his dismissal, he shared a great 89-run stand with Pant. After Pujara got out, Pant took the charge into his hands and has displayed a responsible knock.

Pant reached the triple digits in 137 balls even became the first Indian wicketkeeper-batsman to have scored a Test hundred in Australia.

While Pant has not scored a six today, his knock so far includes nine fours but the Indian fans present in the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) have thoughly enjoyed his knock.

Bharat Army, the bunch of Global Indian Cricket Supporters Group established in 1999, shared a video where the fans are singing a song for Pant with some amazing Punjabi Dhol as the background music.

India have scored 500-plus runs on Day 2 with Pant and Jadeja at the crease.
