The mother of all clashes, the epic rivalry between arch-rivals, India and Pakistan is set to resume on Sunday, October 24 in the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021. The absence of bilateral series has increased the significance of the matches between the two nations in ICC and Asian events, who by the luck of the draw meet in every single one of them.

India and Pakistan will lock horns after two years since the 2019 Cricket World Cup but haven't met each other in T20Is for more than five and a half years. They last met in March 2016 in the T20 World Cup and India won the game comprehensively chasing down a score of 119 inside 16 overs. It was a spectacular bowling performance led by Ashish Nehra, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja to restrict Pakistan to just 118 runs in the match played at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

The game on Sunday will be played on the same surface on which England annihilated West Indies in Dubai and although it played a little slow and low, it is expected to be a low-scoring thriller as it will be a contest between two well-rounded and well-matched sides.
