'What SRH did to David Warner, KKR should do to Eoin Morgan': Fans unhappy with skipper's poor performance in IPL 2021

Some poor performance saw Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) sacking David Warner as their skipper and even getting benched, however, despite not performing to his potential, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Eoin Morgan is continuing to lead the side. The season has been a roller coaster ride for KKR and fans have been questioning Morgan's captaincy. 

Less than 12 months ago, KKR fans had taken to social media to suggest that then captain Dinesh Karthik should be sacked and replaced by Morgan. Now, not even a full year later, fans have started asking for Morgan to be fired.

The Dublin middle-order player in the 12 games he has played this season has scored 109 runs with 47* being his highest score. In the UAE leg, in four innings so far, Morgan scored only 17 runs including a duck. 

In the clash against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on October 1 (Friday), the southpaw was pinned in front of the stumps by Mohammed Shami for just two runs. Morgan has not crossed the 10-run mark in the UAE leg so far.

As for the clash, Kolkata Knight Riders have set a target of 166 runs against Punjab Kings in Match 45 of the ongoing IPL at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai on Friday. PBKS captain KL Rahul won the toss and opted to bowl.
