Delhi Capitals (DC) made sure to get back to the top of the table in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 game after beating the Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets on Wednesday in Dubai.
The team, led by Rishabh Pant, earned their seventh win and Sunrisers, on the other hand, kept gasping for breath as they are now placed right at the bottom of the table.
The SRH side, who had elected to bat first, ended with just ended with 134 for nine in 20 overs. None of their batsmen even crossed the 30-run mark. As for DC, Prithvi Shaw (11) and Shikhar Dhawan (42) gave the start, but it was Shreyas Iyer (47*) and Rishabh Pant (35*) who got the scores on the board.
Soon after the match ended, cricket fans, especially that of SRH were disappointed but not surprised seeing how the team has performed this year.
