Chasing down 86 runs in just 6.3 overs, Team India did what they had to do, take their NRR over that of Afghanistan and now their destiny is in the latter's hands in the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup. For India to have any chance of qualification to the semi-finals, they need New Zealand to lose their final game of the league stage against Afghanistan, as they have already won three games out of the four they have played.

The whole of India will be watching and praying for Afghanistan's win as this is the only way, India can progress to the semi-finals. Since India play the final game of the league stage against Namibia, they will exactly know what to do, if Afghanistan are able to win, but if they are not, it will be Virat Kohli's final game as the captain of the Indian team in the T20 format.

India started their campaign on a poor note with two back-to-back losses against their arch-rivals Pakistan and New Zealand but have come strongly with thumping wins over Afghanistan and Scotland and now the fans have started to believe but all this depends on the result of the match on Sunday.
