On 19 July, the players auction for the inaugural Euro T20 Slam is set to held in London.
Approximately 700 cricketers from 22 different countries have successfully registered their names for the draft, with Ireland, Scotland and Netherlands cricket boards handing over the names of their players, who will be eligible for selection.
Some of then marque players who have been registered for the draft are Australia's Ben Cutting, Bangladeshi pacer Mustafizur Rahman, Pakistan's Sarfaraz Ahmed, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammed Amir, Shaheen Afridi, South Africa's Colin Ingram, Sri Lanka's Kusal Perera and Angelo Mathews and Englishman Tymal Mills.
Each icon player is set to have $1,35,000, while marquee players will fetch around $1,15,000.
The six franchises are eligible to pick a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 7 overseas cricketers within the price range of $20,000, $35,000, $50,000, $65,000 and $80,000. All the franchises will have to buy at least 9 local players who will be available from a price tag range of $35,000, $20,000 and $10,000.
The auction will also have marquee cricketers for the six franchises to pick from with player like Dale Steyn, JP Duminy and Imran Tahir from South Africans, Australia's Chris Lynn, Pakistan's Babar Azam and New Zealand's Luke Ronchi.
Not just that, the Euro T20 Slam will also have ICON players on their plethora with cricketers like Martin Guptill and Brendon McCullum from New Zealand, Afghanistan's spin merchant Rashid Khan, England's World Cup-winning skipper Eoin Morgan, ex-Pakistan batsman Shahid Afridi and former Aussie all-rounder Shane Watson.
The tournament officially kicks off from August 30 next month.
