England Cricket team's fan army - Barmy Army - are known to be one of the most hostile fanbases in the game, especially to their opponents and they just proved it with a distasteful tweet towards Team India skipper Virat Kohli, referring to his dismissal against James Anderson in the first Test of the five-match series at Trent Bridge.

James Anderson, who became the third highest wicket-taker in the history of Test cricket dismissed Virat Kohli for a duck, on the next ball after dismissing Cheteshwar Pujara and took four wickets in total in the first innings, going past former Indian leg-spinner Anil Kumble's tally of 619 wickets.

Joking about the same, England's Barmy Army suggested that even if James Anderson gets old, he will be taking wickets of Virat Kohli and Jr. Virat Kohli. "The year is 2050 and a 68 year-old Jimmy Anderson has taken his 1,500th Test Wicket snicking off Virat Kohli Jr first ball," the tweet read.

While they wrote this in all fun and games, they, however, faced the wrath of the Indian fans as they trolled them with various references from Rishabh Pant's reverse sweep off the 39-year old pacer during the Test series in India earlier this year to England's disruptive weather, that resulted in the first Test match being a draw as both teams shared four points each in the first match of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2021-23.
