The all-rounder suffered a knee injury during the second day of the Headingley Test while fielding.
Team India star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was taken to hospital after the third Test match ended on Saturday in Leeds. Jadeja underwent scans as a precautionary measure for a knee injury sustained during the recently concluded game.
Jadeja suffered a knee injury while fielding n the second day of the match as he was seen limping when he chased the ball towards the boundary. The 32-year old immediately left the field to ensure it was nothing serious and he was back on the field after a couple of overs.
The sources in the know of the development said that it was just a precautionary check and the all-rounder was doing fine. Speaking to ANI, the source said, "Not anything major, he hurt his knee while fielding, so just got scans done to check on it. He is fine."
Taking to Instagram, Jadeja posted a picture of himself from the hospital saying, "Not a good place to be at."

Jadeja, who came to bat on Saturday amidst his side's second collapse of the match, tried his best to arrest the slide with a counter-attacking knock of 30 runs off just 25 balls hitting five fours and a six, however, it was too much for him as he was dismissed by Craig Overton.
India after resuming their innings from 215/2 underwent a massive collapse in another horrible period of batting as from 237/3, they were bowled out for 278 within the next 54 minutes, thereby losing the third Test by an innings and 76 runs.
