Delhi Capitals (DC) gets a sigh of relief as South African bowler Anrich Nortje - who had tested positive for COVID-19 earlier - has returned three negative tests and has finally joined the team's bio-bubble. The franchise said that Nortje had returned a false positive report earlier and had never suffered from COVID-19.
The pacer should have been part of DC's clash against Rajasthan Royals (RR), but due to the COVID-19 report, was not part of the squad.
Nortje, along with Kagiso Rabada, had started their quarantine in Mumbai on April 6 as both had travelled together to India. The Delhi Capitals took to Twitter to give an update on the situation:

Nortje in a video said, "Looking forward to getting to the stadium. It was nice to finally watch the IPL. It was nice to see it in India as well. So excited to get on the field."
The South African missed the first two games of the season, but he should be available for DC's third encounter against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Sunday.
As for DC's IPL campaign so far, they started it off with a win against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by seven wickets but came up short against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in a tight game on Thursday.
