Cricket meets football: Watch Sunil Chhetri join Virat Kohli & Co. at RCB training camp ahead of IPL 2019

IPL 2019: With the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) just around the corner, players have been gearing up at their respective training camps.

Virat Kohli and his Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) teammates were also training at Chinnaswamy Stadium on Tuesday when they had a special guest.

Kohli invited Indian football team captain Sunil Chhetri to speak to the boys at RCB and motivate them ahead of their IPL clash. Chhetri was welcomed by Kohli as he introduced him to his teammates and the support staff.

Chhetri replied to the Tweet saying, “I’ve sore hands and shoulders from yesterday, but thanks for having me over, champ! Good luck for the tournament!”

Kohli and Chhetri are great friends and have bonded over meals to taking inspiration from one another. Chhetri recently led Bengaluru FC to its maiden Indian Super League title on Sunday (17 March).

RCB are preparing for their opening match against M.S. Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings on 23 March.
