India U19 are currently taking on Bangladesh U19 in the final of the ICC U19 World Cup 2020 in South Africa on Sunday (February 9).

Going into the tie, India are looking to defend their title and add yet another feather to their cap. They had previously won the tournament in 2000, 2008, 2012 and 2018 while they finished runners-up in 2006 and 2016.

As for the Bangla cubs, this is the first time ever they are reaching the U19 tournament finals.

Not only fans are absolutely electric about the match, but the senior players of Team India are also keenly watching the final today.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to Twitter to share a photograph of the Indian players, accompanied by their head coach Ravi Shastri, watching the clash over in New Zealand.

In the above-mentioned photo, first-team players like Rohit Sharma, Kuldeep Yadav, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, etc can be seen sitting on the couch and watching India's new rising star Yashasvi Jaiswal showcase his talent for the Boys In Blue live on television.

"Cheers all the way from New Zealand for the #U19. #TeamIndia #U19CWC," BCCI's post on Twitter read.

India's senior side are currently on their tour of New Zealand and have played the Kiwis seven times so far in 5 T20Is and 2 ODIs.

Earlier in the day, Bangladesh won the toss and invited India to bat first.

The Indians got off to a terrible start as they lost Divyansh Saxena for just two runs early on. Jaiswal and Tilak Varma (38) did steady the ship for India however things went downhill very soon as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals.

The young Bangladeshi bowlers were in top form as their aggressive bowling attack restricted India on 177/10 in 47.2 overs.

For the Boys In Blue, Yashasvi Jaiswal was the only stand out performer with the bat on the day as he smashed 88 runs off 121 balls before Shoriful Islam sent him back to the dressing room.
