Carjackers steal Gautam Gambhir's father's car from outside their residence
An FIR has been lodged in the case to nab the culprits.
Former Team India cricket and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Gautam Gambhir's father's car got stolen from outside their residence in the Rajinder Nagar area in New Delhi, the police confirmed on Friday (May 29).
Deepak Gambhir, the father of the former opening-batsman, owned the white coloured Toyota Fortuner, which was stolen on May 28.
Upon receiving the complaint, the Station House Officer along with other staff members reached the MP's house for investigation.
An FIR has been lodged in the case and the police have also obtained the CCTV footage of the incident, DCP Central Sanjay Bhatia said.
Further investigation is also underway.
