'Ayee, you know what I told you': WATCH Yuzvendra Chahal asking Martin Guptill to repeat Hindi cuss word again

India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was recently in the news, but not for his on-field antics but for his off-field conversation with New Zealand batsman Martin Guptill.

The hilarious interaction took place after India defeated the Kiwis by 7 wickets in the 2nd T20I in Auckland.

After the match, Chahal had taken a microphone and gone to have a chat with Guptill, who was speaking to India vice-captain Rohit Sharma.

When Chahal greeted the pair, Guptill responded with “Kya hai G***u?” leaving Rohit in splits. 

Chahal soon told him that they were live on television, and the video clip has since gone viral on social media. 

Not satisfied with this interaction, Chahal met Guptill again in the hotel room and asked him to repeat what he had said. The Indian bowler then uploaded an Instagram story. 

The video of the same was shared by a Twitter user and it has now gone viral.

In the video, Guptill asks: “What are you saying?” to which Chahal replied: “What you told me last night?” Guptill, learning from his mistake and not repeating the word on camera responded: “Ayee, you know what I told you last night!” The response from the Kiwi opener incited laughter from Chahal.

As for the match, India have taken a 2-0 lead in the five-match T20I series. The Indian cricket team will face New Zealand in the third T20I on Wednesday at Seddon Park in Hamilton. 

The Men in Blue will look to clinch the series by winning the third T20I as well.
