Ashton Turner is having a horrible Indian Premier League (IPL) so far. Turner, who made his name with great performances in the Big Bash League, was expected to be a key player for Rajasthan Royals this season. However, he has had a torrid time so far with the bat as he bagged his third consecutive golden duck on Monday.
After getting out to Ishant Sharma during the match 40 of IPL between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals, Turner became the first batsman in T20 history to get out without scoring in five straight innings. Turner has scored first ball ducks against Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab before this match. He was also out for a duck for Australia against India. He had fallen for a golden duck in Big Bash League before that.
Ashton Turner's last 5 innings in T20 cricket are 0 0 0 0 0. He is the first batsman in T20 history to score five zeroes in a row. #Olympian

Twitter was well aware of the fact and wasted no time in taking shots at Turner.

You feel sorry for Turner!
3 first ball ducks in three innings. How much worse can it get for Ashton Turner. You feel for him. May not be the right time to buy a lottery ticket.
