Hosts England have decided to drop batsman Jason Roy for the fifth and final Ashes Test match against Australia starting on Thursday at The Oval.
England made one more change to the side which lost at Old Trafford on Sunday, with bowler Craig Overton also missing out.
Both Roy and Overton have been replaced by all-rounder Sam Curran and Chris Woakes. Leeds Test hero Ben Stokes is set to play as the specialist batsman only after picking up a shoulder injury at Old Trafford.
Aussies have retained the Ashes title by securing a 2-1 lead after winning the fourth Test match at Manchester by 185 runs. The tourists have made just one change to the side, with all-rounder Mitch Marsh coming as a replacement of Travis Head.
Roy's exclusion came in as no great surprise after he struggled to score with the bat for the hosts throughout the series.
The 29-year-old scored 110 runs in his eight innings with a top score of 31 at Old Trafford after getting dropped down the order.
England will be hoping to avoid a home series defeat in the hands of Australia for the first time since 2001.
England squad: Joe Root (captain), Jofra Archer, Jonny Bairstow (wicketkeeper), Stuart Broad, Rory Burns, Jos Buttler, Sam Curran, Joe Denly, Jack Leach, Ben Stokes, Chris Woakes.
