The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) side ended their 7-match losing streak in UAE against Mumbai Indians (MI) in clash No 39 of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The MI side had a batting collapse and Ishan Kishan - who had established a name for himself after having a glorious 2020 season - failed to create an impact in the ongoing IPL campaign. The 23-year-old MI wicket-keeper batter has only scored 107 runs in eight innings at a disappointing average of 13.37.

And in the clash against RCB, Kishan scored just nine runs before Yuzvendra Chahal dismissed him. However, after the batsman's dismal performance, Kohli was seen consoling the youngster and giving him a pep talk.

While the photos of the two went viral, a new pic has now floated that has got netizens hearts melting. Virat Kohli was seen having a chat with MI captain Rohit Sharma.

The MI skipper had injured his hand after a shot hit by Ishan Kishan. In order to save his face, the 'Hitman' put his hand ahead and was hit by the ball. After the clash, Kohli and Rohit were seen having a chat and laughing with each other.

At the post-match presentation, MI captain Rohit Sharma had offered words of reassurance for Kishan's performance saying, "He's a talented player. He's had a terrific IPL last year. We want to back his natural game which is why he came up the order above Surya. Don't want to put too much pressure on the guy. Relatively young, making his way in international cricket."
