R Ashwin has not yet featured in the three Tests so far and Ravindra Jadeja has been favoured over him.
Many had expected to see Ravichandran Ashwin in the playing XI, Team India had decided to not twerk with their winning combination and went on with the squad that won at Lord's against England.
While the Men in Blue are struggling against the English side at Leeds, the Indian spinner surprised fans by sharing photos of him batting in the nets.
While netizens loved and praised the all-rounder, what confused them was Ravi Ashwin's left-handed batting. He posted two pictures and those who follow Ashwin closely know that he loves to experiment.
However, when it comes to batting, he has not tried many variations and it was surely odd to see him batting left-handed.

Soon after the pictures were posted on his official Twitter account captioned, "ignite something different", netizens questioned and expressed their shock. Some, however, understood that the picture was a mirror image and hence it looked like he was batting with his left hand.

Though Ash don't need to do this probably many of us believe in his skills
As for the Test, surprisingly, Ashwin has not yet featured in the three Tests so far. Ravindra Jadeja has been favoured over him as he is equipped with the bat in hand.
India skipper Virat Kohli went in with a 4-1 pace and spin combination which had not allowed him to play another spinner.
