The schedule of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) is out and Mumbai Indians, the four-time IPL champions taking on the three-time winners Chennai Super Kings in the opening game in Abu Dhabi on September 19 at 7:30 PM.

While fans are eager for the start of the cash-rich tournament, one thing they will surely miss is the live-action from stadiums.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, all matches will be played behind the closed door, however, IPL 2020's new anthem, sets the mood just right.

This year's anthem is titled 'ayenge hum wapas' (We will be back) which talks about how fans will once again fill the stadiums soon.

As for the IPL schedule, Dubai will host its first game on Sunday when Delhi Capitals take on Kings XI Punjab followed by the third match on Monday between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Sharjah will see its first game on September 22 where Rajasthan Royals will host Chennai Super Kings.

There was plenty of delay in the schedule because of the 13 staff members in the Chennai Super Kings testing positive for the coronavirus.

With all reports of the Chennai Super Kings players now COVID negative, MS Dhoni’s side began their preparation for the tournament in Dubai.
