While some have a new member making his/her way into the family, some have been blessed with the bundle of joy. 

So bringing happiness into the sad and quarantined 2020, here are five cricketers who became fathers in this year.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma on Thursday announced that they will be welcoming their first child together in January 2021. 

Kohli took to social media to share the special news with the fans as he posted a picture with Anushka, cradling her baby bump. 

Virat captioned the picture saying, "And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021." 

Cricketer Hardik Pandya and his partner Natasa Stankovic were blessed with a baby boy. The all-rounder took to social media to share the news with fans.

The duo had announced their engagement on January 1 and later surprised fans with the happy news of her pregnancy in Instagram posts on May 31.

The news of Suresh Raina and wife Priyanka's second baby was announced by Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 23.

The couple was blessed with a baby boy. They already have an adorable daughter Gracia Raina who was born on 16 May 2016.

England Test captain Joe Root announced the birth of his second child with wife Carrie Cotterell on July 8.

Root posted an adorable picture with his new-born resting on his left arm while his right arm was wrapped around his other son Alfred William while they were cheering for their squad against West Indies.

The 29-year-old extended his support to the English side, as he wrote: Good luck boys @englandcricket We will be watching and supporting you all the way!”

England's ODI and T20I captain Eoin Morgan and his wife Tara became parents to a baby boy on March 9. The news of the same was confirmed by Tara Morgan on her Instagram handle. 

The Morgans have become the parents for the first time. Tara Morgan took to Instagram and also revealed the name of the baby.

In her post, she wrote: "Leo Louis Oliver Morgan 9th March 2020".
