World Cup 2019: India have been having a good outing in the ongoing Cricket World Cup. Now playing their semifinal clash against New Zealand, India hope to keep their winning momentum on and book their place in the final.
Indian pacer Mohammad Shami - who was dropped in the last match - has again not been picked up for the match against the Kiwis. While netizens are divided over this decision, there was another story related to the bowler that has just got netizens talking.
It's about a screenshot shared by a girl in which Shami has allegedly sent a simple ‘good afternoon’ message. She asked why a cricketer was sending her random messages. DNA can't verify whether the message was indeed from Shami. However, the screenshot caught the attention of Twitter.
While many called out Shami's for his alleged behaviour, some even criticised the woman for using the platform and the screenshot to create controversy and attracting attention.

4. Shami's wife Hasin Jahan accused him of cheating and domestic abuse

Mohammed Shami is involved in a bitter domestic dispute with wife Hasin Jahan. She has accused Shami of cheating and domestic abuse after posting pictures of his alleged chats with girls. She has since then also accused him of match-fixing.
The whole controversy even threatened Shami's career where his contract was suspended by BCCI which he later got back.
Jahan had also alleged that the pacer had forced her to have a physical relationship with his brother. She had even claimed that the cricketer’s mother and brother tortured her and wanted to kill her.
She filed a case of domestic violence and infidelity against Shami and has stated that her fate could've been similar to that of the minor Barkwal community girl who was repeatedly raped for eight days before being strangled and bludgeoned to death.
