IPL 2021: Not Mumbai Indians or Chennai Super Kings, THIS franchise leads the list of most centuries by a team

The second leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 is all set to begin from September 19 in the UAE, after the first phase was halted due to the COVID-19 virus affecting the bio-bubble.

While teams have already reached the UAE and have completed their quarantine and started off their training, they faced more challenges of some foreign players opting out of the tournament.

While they have found replacements and the tournament is all set to roll in, the IPL 2021 playoff qualification scenario will now be the one in focus.

Amid all this, there will be high expectations from certain players keeping the upcoming T20 World Cup in mind. Among them is Indian skipper Virat Kohli who has been on a century drought since 2019.

While he is suffering from reaching the triple-digit mark, his team on the other hand is at a very high spot among other teams when it comes to the century stand.

They had a bad experience in UAE in the 2020 edition and will be looking to rewrite things in the country.

Mumbai Indians is the most successful team in the league history of IPL, having won five titles. However, when it comes to the century count as a team, they have only four to their name.

 

The Rohit Sharma-led side is also looking to win the title again and make it three in a row.

The man is now coach of the side and will look to get the Eoin Morgan team into the top four in the second leg.
