Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli has been on a century drought since 2019.
The second leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 is all set to begin from September 19 in the UAE, after the first phase was halted due to the COVID-19 virus affecting the bio-bubble.
While teams have already reached the UAE and have completed their quarantine and started off their training, they faced more challenges of some foreign players opting out of the tournament.
While they have found replacements and the tournament is all set to roll in, the IPL 2021 playoff qualification scenario will now be the one in focus.
Amid all this, there will be high expectations from certain players keeping the upcoming T20 World Cup in mind. Among them is Indian skipper Virat Kohli who has been on a century drought since 2019.
While he is suffering from reaching the triple-digit mark, his team on the other hand is at a very high spot among other teams when it comes to the century stand.
1. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)

While their skipper Virat Kohli is trying to get his rhythm back and reach the 100 run mark, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) still have the highest number of centuries as a team.
RCB has 14 centuries to their name over the years in the IPL.
2. Punjab Kings (PBKS)

Second, on the list is the KL Rahul-led side Punjab Kings (PBKS). The side is just a ton away from RCB and has 13 centuries to their name.
In fact, KL Rahul has been one of the main contributors to the list.
3. Delhi Capitals (DC)

The team third on the list is Delhi Capitals (DC) with 10 centuries to their name. Now led by Rishabh Pant after Shreyas Iyer faced injury is leading the points table of IPL 2021 after phase 1.
With Iyer back into the squad, they could make it to the top 4 and even the final.
4. Rajasthan Royals (RR)

Rajasthan Royals (RR) has nine centuries in IPL history with Jos Buttler being their latest centurion during Phase 1 of the IPL 2021.
Led by Sanju Samson, the skipper has managed to get scores on the board and will try to do the same in the UAE leg.
5. Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

One of the most successful teams in the IPL - Chennai Super Kings (CSK) - has eight centuries to their name. The MS Dhoni-led side is on the second spot on the current IPL 2021 ranking.
They had a bad experience in UAE in the 2020 edition and will be looking to rewrite things in the country.
6. Mumbai Indians (MI)

Mumbai Indians is the most successful team in the league history of IPL, having won five titles. However, when it comes to the century count as a team, they have only four to their name.
The Rohit Sharma-led side is also looking to win the title again and make it three in a row.
7. SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH)

Currently trying to find their rhythm as a team, SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH), have three centuries to their name.
The David Warner-led side, in IPL 2021 also saw him the skipper getting benched and Kane Williamson leading the side. They will surely hope for a change in fortune when Phase 2 begins.
8. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

Last on this list is Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) who have just one century to their name. The century is also the one that came during the very first season of IPL by Brendon McCullum.
The man is now coach of the side and will look to get the Eoin Morgan team into the top four in the second leg.
