Team India's winning momentum was disrupted by New Zealand as they win the first ODI in Seddon Park at Hamilton on Wednesday (February 5).

While Shreyas Iyer scored his maiden ODI ton, it was Ross Taylor's 21st ODI century.
India had piled up a massive total and there was a lot of pressure on the Black Caps. However, they paced their chase and made sure to win the clash in 48 overs.
Nicholls and Guptill had set the tone for the Kiwis at the start, but India came back with two quick wickets. Ross Taylor, however, changed the mood of the game as his unbeaten 109 lead the Kiwis towards victory.
As for the Indian's, Shreyas Iyer, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul put on impressive performances.

Truely said, when its India, you can't say anything about the match!! While it looks like India are almost losing, they buckled up and took two wickets.
First, they sent back James Neesham and later de Grandhomme.
Neesham did not time the ball well. Full and on the leg stump, Neesham lofts, the bat turns on impact with the ball, long-on moves to his left and takes a good catch.

As for de Grandhomme, he was run-out by Virat Kohli. Shami had bowled to Ross Taylor and when he took a run.
Taylor worked this delivery to deep mid-wicket, CdG was slow on the second run and Kohli rushed to the bowler's end. A flat throw from Iyer right next to sticks did the trick.
