Rohit took on the Pak bowlers from the get-go more aggressively, while KL Rahul, on the other hand, played with a more calm approach. The opening pair added 136 runs for the opening wicket, while Rohit Sharma played a sensational inning of 140 runs off 113 delivers. Fans during the match witnessed Sharma playing an upper cut for six to a quick short delivery and it made them recall about a very special upper cut played by Sachin Tendulkar vs Pakistan in the 2003 World Cup.
