1.IPL 2025 suspension reason
The ongoing season of IPL has been suspended for a week due to the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan and the possibility of war in the coming days.
2.When was IPL 2025 started?
IPL 2025 began on March 22 and was currently in the last leg of its league stage. It was scheduled to be concluded on May 25.
3.How many times IPL has been halted in the past?
This is not the first time IPL has been halted or shifted. The first time the IPL schedule was changed was in 2009 when the tournament was held in South Africa due to security concerns during the General Elections.
4.Second Time
The IPL was partially moved out of India again in 2014 due to the same reason during the General Elections.

5.Third time
The third time the IPL was rescheduled was in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 edition of IPL was then played between September 19 to November 10.
6.Fourth time
In May 2021, due to multiple bio-bubble breaches and increasing COVID-19 cases among players and staff, the IPL season was postponed. It resumed in September later that year in UAE.
