IPL 2019: BCCI has released fixtures for the group league matches of IPL 2019. It had earlier rolled out a two-week schedule for 17 games due to the General Elections. However, the BCCI released the IPL schedule for all the group matches to be played between April 6 and May 5.
All eight teams will play seven home matches at their respective home venues. M.A. Chidambaram stadium in Chennai will host the final on May 12.
Chennai Super Kings will be taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the league’s season 12 opener in Chennai on Saturday, March 23.

1. MS Dhoni vs Virat Kohli
The Virat Kohli-led RCB will be facing defending champions Chennai Super Kings which is led by former Indian captain MS Dhoni.
The match will take place in Chennai on 23rd March and will start at 8 PM.
The two slippers who have helped India in winning against other countries will now fight against each other. While the wicketkeeper-batsman will want to retain the title, Kohli will look to give RCB their maiden win.

2. Schedule of RCB for the first two weeks
After facing Chennai on their home ground, RCB will return to Chinnaswamy Stadium to face Mumbai Indians on 28 March.

3. Repeat fight against CSK
The repeat between MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli will be on 21st April. Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Chennai Super Kings will take place in Bengaluru and match will start at 8 pm.

4. Matches at Chinnaswamy Stadium
RCB have their first home match on 28 March against Mumbai Indians. They then host Kolkata Knight Riders on 5 April and Delhi Capitals on 7 April.
They have a repeat match against CSK on 21 April. On 24 April, they will host Kings XI Punjab.
