Both Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Capitals are coming off with wins in their respective previous matches. In their first home match of the season, KXIP defeated the Mumbai Indians, while the Delhi Capitals denied Kolkata Knight Riders victory in the Super Over.
After facing a clinical 177 run-chase against MI, KXIP will be looking dependant on its top-order batting comprising of Chris Gayle, KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal. Their bowling, however, is a major concern.
As for DC, their advisor Sourav Ganguly said that the win would give the young team a lot of confidence. While the Shreyas Iyer-led team, with the likes of Rishabh Pant and Prithvi Shaw, will want to continue the winning momentum. They will, however, have to be careful against KXIP.
