IPL 2019 Auction: The 2019 IPL Player Auction will take place on December 18 with 351 players going under the hammer. However, there are only 70 remaining slots in the eight IPL franchises. 228 Indians and 123 international players are included in the short list for IPL auction this year. These names were decided on the basis of the lists submitted by the eight IPL franchises. For IPL 2019 auction, the salary cap has been raised from Rs 80 to Rs 82 crores for the eight teams. The auction hammer will be yielded not by the known face of Richard Madley but by Hugh Edmeades for the 12th season of IPL.
