Cummins issued a statement on Twitter and wrote, "India is a country I have come to love dearly over the years and the people here are some of the warmest and kindest I've ever met. To know so many are suffering so much at this time saddens me greatly. There has been quite a bit of discussion over here as to whether it is appropriate for the IPL to continue while COVID-9 infection rates remain high. I'm advised that the Indian Government is of the view that playing the IPL while the population is in lockdown provides a few hours of joy and respite each day at an otherwise difficult time for the country".

While he won the hearts of many with this kind gesture, the pacer - who at one time was the highest purchased player in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at Rs 15.5 crore - recently purchased a luxurious bungalow in Sydney east.

So let's have a look at the inside of the big splurge on an exorbitant house in Sydney.

The mansion named Figtree House has been listed at $7.9 million but was snapped up by the fast bowler for $9.5 million. The bungalow has its own features making it all what it's worth.

It comes with a view of the ocean and it even boasts a garden designed by Peter Fudge and the lawn has a heated mosaic-tiled pool.

A parent’s retreat, children’s wing, guest bedroom, and top-floor fifth bedroom or living space - the mansion comprises of 5 large bedrooms with a second-floor retreat.

The beautifully revived Victorian manor home of Double Bay’s Indigo Cafe owner Anthony Moustacas will be bequeathed to Cummins by Anthony and Nikki Moustacas, Insidesport reported.

Cummins' fiance Becky Boston who is an interior designer herself, the house embodies the couple's tastes and styles in coordination with Arnet & Pyke - who also designed the Ambani home with luxury and elegance.

The Australian cricketer has moved into the sprawling property along with his long-time girlfriend, Becky Boston – who Cummins is soon to be married to.

Apart from this extravagant Sydney manor, Pat Cummins owns two other homes in Australia.
