Indian Captain Virat Kohli, who has had a poor run with the toss, for a chance won the toss on Thursday and opted to bat against West Indies in the first Test of the ongoing two-Test series. India's 18-year-old Prithvi Shaw kicked-off his Test career with a bang when he scored maiden fifty off 56 balls during India’s first Test against West Indies at Rajkot on Thursday. By doing so, he became India’s only teenage to score a half-century on Test debut. PC: AFP

After Rahul's wicket in the opening over of the day, West Indies have failed to even trouble Prithvi Shaw and Pujara so far. The two have put up 130 runs for the second wicket, with a half-century each, as the hosts take lunch at a comfortable 133/1. PC: AFP
