India will miss Prithvi Shaw in the first Test match at least. The young star suffered an ankle injury during the match. Shaw had impressed on Thursday with a sparkling 66, hitting 11 boundaries in his 69-ball knock. After Prithvi Shaw's injury India may find some respite from the performance of KL Rahul and M Vijay in the second innings. Vijay slammed a century while KL Rahul added 62 runs. Apart from KL Rahul in the first innings, every recognised Indian batsman was among the runs for India. There were five fifties in the first innings as well a 40 from Rohit Sharma. The two batsmen not to get runs in the first innings - Vijay did not bat while Rahul scored just 3 - also got some runs in the second innings. It looks Hanuma Vihari will play as a batting all-rounder for India in the first Test match. He scored half-century in the first innings and was promoted to No.3 in the second. This means Rohit Sharma will have to wait for his chance. (Image: AFP)
