Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma made a mockery for the West Indies' bowling attack as India chased down 323 with 47 balls to spare and eight wickets in hand. The comprehensive victory in Guwahati gave India a 1-0 lead in the five-match one day international series.

Kohli and Rohit put on a record 246-run stand for the second wicket at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati to help India reach their target without breaking a sweat. They broke many records during the stand.
